Poets Cove Resort & Spa is located at Bedwell Harbour on the southwest side of South Pender Island. We are a 40 minute ferry ride from the Swartz Bay ferry terminal on Vancouver Island and 2 – 2.5 hour ferry ride from the Tsawwassen ferry terminal on the Mainland.

We are also accessible by scheduled and charter float plane service from Vancouver, Victoria and Seattle. The 20 minute flight from downtown Vancouver or Vancouver's South Terminal Airport is a spectacular trip over the Gulf Islands! The flight from Seattle is equally scenic and cuts hours off travel time from the States.

Another option from Victoria is chartered water taxi from Port Sidney Marina to Poets Cove in Bedwell Harbour.

Our full-service marina is open year-round, with 110 deep-water slips for boats up to 100 feet, is rated one of the top ten anchorages in North America, and is a destination for boaters along the entire west coast of the continent. With Canada Customs located at our docks, it is a point of entry for many American boaters.

Getting Here

By Ferry
Travel to Poets Cove via BC Ferries from Vancouver (Tsawwassen Terminal) or Vancouver Island (Swartz Bay Terminal) to Otter Bay terminal on North Pender Island. Reservations from Vancouver during summer and holidays are recommended.

Harbour Air Seaplanes flying from Coal Harbour in Vancouver to Poets Cove at Bedwell Harbour.

Kenmore Air flying from from Seattle (Downtown Lake Union or Kenmore), Washington to Poets Cove at Bedwell Harbour.
