British Columbia’s West Coast is one of the best locations in the world to view spectacular marine animals. Playful harbour seals pop up between boats in our marina, just to say hello. Right outside Bedwell Harbour, the “Valley of the Dahl’s” hosts Dahl’s Porpoise year round, and the west side of North Pender is on the daily swimming route of the magnificent Orca whale.

"Poets Cruise" Evening Island Adventure
Join your Captain Dan in an evening cruise around the Gulf Islands. The sunset beautiful West Coast scenery will take your breath away. Enjoy a relaxing cruise while Dan educates you about the abundant wildlife around you. There will hopefully be opportunities to see all sorts of marine life, including porpoises, whales, eagles and so much more. $79 per person

"Poets Cruise" Elegant Vineyard Excursion
A Poets Cove original; enjoy the spectacular coastal ecology and wildlife of the Southern Gulf Islands. You will be whisked away on the custom charter vessel to explore the natural habitat of harbour seals, otters, porpoise, eagles, cormorants and blue heron. There is even the possiblity of observing Orca and other whale species. The tour includes a visit to the historic Hope Bay shops and cafe followed by a stop at Saturna Island Vineyard for a scenic vineyard walk and wine tasting. You will hop back aboard the boat for a stop by a seal rookery to complete the circumnavigation of South Pender. Total time for tour is approx. 3 hours. $109 per person

Historical Coastal Eco Tour
Explore the spectacular waters and coastal ecology amongst the Southern Gulf Islands, home to our resident Orca Whales, Dahl's Porpoise, otters, seals and the massive sea lion, just to name a few. This tour will provide an opportunity to witness the magnificent sea life of this region while enjoying the exquisite scenery. $109 per person

Whale Watching with Emerald Sea Adventures
Head out with our resident experts (www.emeraldsea.ca)to locate and observe the magnificent Orca whales. Orcas (or Killer Whales) are residents in our local Pacific Ocean waters around Victoria and the Southern Gulf Islands. Whale sitings are particularly spectacular in May, June, July, August and September. Although we cannot guarantee sightings, everyone comes back smiling!
$109 per person

Fishing Tours
A day of fishing with our resident experts is a great way to relax! You can enjoy year round salmon and bottom fishing in the healthy waters of the Gulf Islands. Drop a crab or prawn trap while you are out and see what has arrived for dinner! Fishing licenses are available in our marina office. $425 half day or $625 full day (8 hour) private charter
