Road Closure

The long awaited and much needed road repair work has begun on the section of Canal Road on South Pender Island that was damaged during heavy rain and flooding in November 2021.    This project lead by the Ministry of Transportation will be taking place during your visit to Poets Cove Resort

The repair work will require scheduled road closures between 10:00am and 2:00pm Mondays through Saturdays, limiting access between North Pender and South Pender, including the main road to the Resort.

We encourage you to work this closure into your planned itinerary while on Pender Island and when making your ferry reservations.  The majority of the ferry schedule to and from Otter Bay terminal are outside of this time frame, so this closure should have minimal impact to our guests.
